Creating in 3-dimensions is very different from programming web sites or using a mouse and computer to design graphics. The act of using your hands to create a solid piece of furniture that fills the space in all 3-dimensions is both rewarding and relaxing to me. These are some of my furniture and industrial designs that I have created.

A set of stacking stools designed for cramped quarters. When the two stools are stacked, it creates the illusion of one stool, but when separated there are actually two.

The tessel tables are based on two basic ideas, tessellation and reusing. They are non-traditional children's desks that are made from recyclable polyethylene. Its ability to tessellate allows for children to arrange their desks into different shapes, allowing for different types of interaction with each other during group activities.
These tables were exhibited at the 1996 SIDIM Exhibition in Montreal, Quebec as part of the Eco Design Exhibit.

A set of 4 wooden picture frames that slide to stack on top of each other. The frames can be slid open to display as much of the 4 photos as you want, or they can be closed shut into a compact box, showing only the photo in the first frame.
